About Bringing Dad Out

Hi there!

Thank you for dropping by.

This blog is a listing of places in Singapore that I found to be wheelchair accessible. The primary aim of this blog is to answer this commonly asked question, “Where can I bring Dad out?” So I’m compiling a list of places that I can bring my Dad, who is a wheelchair user, out for a family meal or just to window shop.

What I intend to do with this blog is to keep the text as short as possible and let the photos do the talking – after all “a picture speaks a thousand words”. So in each post, I will highlight at least three key areas that a wheelchair user/primary caregiver would be concerned with:

1. A designated parking lot for wheelchair users;
2. A handicap toilet; and
3. Lifts.

While this blog may only be used by me or my family members to remind ourselves of a good place to bring Dad out, I do hope that you will find the information within useful too.

But do drop me a note and let me know your thoughts about this blog, ideas that you may have or would like to contribute to this blog.

Thanks for dropping by!
